Thinking Success as a Wealthy Affiliate

Even though I've only been a member at Wealthy Affiliate for a short time, I'm amazed at the amount of knowledge and Internet Marketing savvy I've been exposed to thus far, and the gains I've experienced in confidence and trust in my own abilities.

I believe that with knowledge comes understanding. Life before Wealthy Affiliate was browsing different sites for Internet Marketing ideas, but with no direction or focus. There were lots of deals that looked okay to me, and some that looked like scams. But I really didn't understand the workings behind the scenes of the Internet markets or advertising sites. I became discouraged and sometimes felt like I was just wasting time. Then.......

ENTER Wealthy Affiliate

Amazingly, I came across an ad for the Wealthy Affiliate University, and I haven't looked back since. I came, I joined, and I'm now in the process of conquering Internet Marketing with the help and support of many Wealthy Affiliate peers.

Being in the Wealthy Affiliate University seems all-consuming at first, but surprisingly, I've actually gained in time management because my research skills have improved. I know what I'm looking for and where to find it.

I had a little trouble, at first, with the idea of writing for articles, advertising, or website promotion etc., because I've always been hung up on the 'correct' way to do things. But, after reading some articles and comments from other Wealthy Affiliate members, I've actually developed the courage to 'go for it', to just write from the heart.....hence, this blog.

To Your Success!

Whether you have just joined Wealthy Affiliate, or have been here for a little while and feel like you're 'getting nowhere fast', don't despair.

Success is a state of mind. Each day that you choose to move forward, by learning or trying something new within Wealthy Affiliate University, no matter how small, is success in itself and one more step closer to your Internet Marketing goal.

Many Internet Marketers are focused on one thing only......financial success......so focused that they forget about all the other great benefits of being a Wealthy Affiliate member:

• knowledge & skills - such as research with NicheQ, web design with Site Rubix, article writing,and much more.

• community - all the help and support you will ever need from Kyle, Carson, Marcus and many, many of your fellow Affiliates. As well, you'll have the opportunity to help others through comments, blogs, or tutorials.

• Internet savvy saves time - you'll know where you're going and why.

• research and writing - improve your articles or learn where to find pre-written ones that you can revise and use.

• all the above skills are marketable within Wealthy Affiliate and transferable to any other projects you may have going.

So, as you can see, you're finally on the right bus if your goal is to have a successful Internet Marketing career. My advice is to relax, and enjoy the ride. You may feel like you're on the back of the bus, right now, but if you stick with the Wealthy Affiliate University, you'll soon be moving up to the front seat. And, before you know it, you'll be driving that darn bus!
